August in Review — And What's Still Outstanding

Wrapping up a month of posts about how CCE Cash actually works.

Covered the mechanics — the five-step swap, the ten-minute fixed-rate window, what confirmations really measure, why the rate refreshes while you watch it. The features — Deep Exchange splitting one deposit across five wallets, the order inquiry code, per-order deposit addresses, the Telegram bot. The practical stuff — consolidating dust, converting stablecoin income, reading a block explorer, testing an exchange safely, why addresses get rejected. And the less flattering parts — what happens to a flagged transaction, how refunds actually route, and what the platform deliberately won't build.

The thread running through all of it: build only what the transaction requires, then describe accurately what that leaves.

The second half is the harder discipline. It would have been easier to write "we never touch your funds" — good line, expected from a non-custodial exchange, and not true, because a deposit does reach a generated address since conversion requires receipt. The accurate version is narrower: no standing balance, and the address doesn't survive the order. Less quotable, holds up when someone checks.

Same pattern elsewhere. The order inquiry code is both a privacy feature and an unrecoverable single point of failure. "No account" came paired with "no recovery path" every time it appeared. The refund policy was published with its failure conditions rather than just the qualifying ones.

Still outstanding: the API documentation URL has been linked inconsistently across their own posts, which is being fixed. And the asset coverage question asked earlier this month got useful answers that haven't become anything visible yet.

Thanks to everyone here who engaged.
