After months of case study, we've developed a formula that paves the way for you to earn money writing for Xomba.
Who pays me?
Google pays you directly and you can follow your number of impressions(views), clicks, and total all from your Google Adsense account.
Xomba does not have any control over your Adsense account.
How do I get paid?
You get paid when you get clicks on the targeted text ads above and below your Xombytes. The amount you get paid can vary from 3 cents to 2 bucks a click. This all depends on how many advertisers are bidding on the keywords that are targeted to your Xombyte.
Please note you will be banned if you try to cheat or violate Google's TOS. This includes clicking (or having others) click your ads.
How do I know which keywords or subject matter pays most?
There are two different strategies when writing for money. You can write about breaking news and hot topics that have a high volume of search but not as many advertisers like:

or subjects that may have average search volume but tons of advertisers like:

With Strategy #1 your goal is to drive lots of traffic to your Xombyte, which in turn produces a modest CTR. "CTR", or Click Through Rate, represents the percentage of readers who visit and click on the ads displayed in your Xombyte. Strategy #2 might get fewer reads/page impressions and the same CTR, but the clicks produce more money.
Fortunately, there is a tool called the Google AdWords: Keyword Tool that lets you analyze the search volume of your subject/keywords, advertising competition (number of advertisers) and search trends over the last year.
Using the Google AdWords: Keyword Tool
The Google AdWords: Keyword Tool is designed to help advertisers with their ad campaigns, however we can use it to produce lucrative Xombytes.
First, put in the keywords or phrase that best describes your Xombyte to view the search volume and advertiser competition. You'll notice other keywords listed below the one that was entered. You can either ignore the suggested keywords or place them appropriately in your Xombyte. Make note of keywords that have high search volume or high advertiser competition.
Some keywords have a higher search volume depending on what time of the year it is. The keyword tool allows you to view search trends per month and per previous year. Change the "Choose data to display" drop down field to Global Search Volume Trends.
