Ledger Nano is a Bitcoin wallet on a smartcard device, small format and low weight. Comfortable and simple to use, you connect it directly to a USB port to manage your account, protect your bitcoins and make safe payments.
SMARTCARD
Ledger Nano is based on the industry standard EAL5+ smartcard, a high-level security used for banks processes, passports, health care systems and governments data.
MALWARE PROOF
Even on a compromised computer, you can authentify each payment with your second factor security card, or through push notifications on your smartphone (Ledger Wallet Android/iOS app).
SECURE ELEMENT
Your transactions are not parsed and signed on your computer: Bitcoin main sensitive actions are done inside the Secure Element, a tamper resistant environment integrated in the microchip.
PRIVACY
Your Bitcoin private keys are never held or known by Ledger or a third part: they are hard locked in your smartcard device. With Ledger Nano, your wallet remains decentralized, you are your own bank.
