World's Largest Asset Manager Posts Crypto Job Openings in U.S.

BlackRock (NYSE: BLK) is looking to hire people in crypto leadership roles as the world's largest asset manager expands its digital asset offerings across the globe.

The firm is the largest issuer of both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) exchange-traded funds (ETFs). It also launched the first tokenized fund, the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL), on Ethereum last year.

And it seems BlackRock isn't taking a pause.

The firm's global head of digital assets, Robert Mitchnick, recently shared that BlackRock is hiring for multiple leadership roles across its digital assets team.

The company's careers page lists openings for digital assets in the U.S., Singapore, England, and Ireland. All the roles involve work in crypto assets, stablecoins, and tokenization. While the associate roles require a work experience of 3-6 years, the leadership roles require an experience of more than 12 years.

In a week, employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office and can work from home for one day.

The MD role in New York, which offers the salary range of $270,000-$350,000, involves managing and leading the execution of multiple major cross-functional digital asset initiatives across BlackRock.

The latest job postings indicate that BlackRock is expanding its digital asset offerings not only in the U.S. but also in Europe and Asia.
