What's your most preferred education resource? I study technical patterns in FPA School as well as from Hotforex webinars to get a better grip on technical analysis as despite simplicity its correct application looks hard.

Yeah I read them from the start to the end and now want to find something more advanced. Unfortunately without constant improvement you won't be able to stay competitive.

A retracement is a small reversal in price within a larger price trend. An important word here is "inside.". This distinguishes a reversal from a retracement. Reversals occur when a price trend ends and a new one begins or when a period of consolidation starts. Retracements are merely temporary pauses.

It is clear from examining Forex charts that the market always moves in this general direction. Markets retrace within the majority of trends, and even within very strong trends. Take two steps forward and one step back, or two steps forward and one step back. Bearish and bullish trends both experience retracements. Fibonacci retracements are retracements at Fibonacci levels. The price frequently pauses near Fibonacci levels, which act as both a support and a resistance. It usually happens because traders anticipate it and act accordingly.
A retracement is a temporary price reversal within a larger trend, differing from a reversal which signifies a new trend or consolidation. Markets often retrace during strong trends, and Fibonacci levels commonly act as support or resistance, causing pauses as traders anticipate these levels and adjust their positions.

A retracement is a temporary price reversal within a larger trend, distinct from a full reversal that marks the end of a trend. During both bullish and bearish trends, markets often retrace, moving slightly backward before continuing in the main direction. Fibonacci retracements are specific levels where prices tend to pause, acting as support or resistance due to traders' expectations and actions.

Yes, any trend consists of trend movements and corrections within this trend. And our task is to be able to determine the end of these corrections in order to make more accurate and profitable trades in the direction of the trend with minimal drawdowns or stop losses and earn on the next wave of the trend movement.
