Position trading is very profitable for long term forex traders. The profit margin is quite high, and a trader with good fundamental and technical analysis skills, since you take a position and stay there for a longer time. Without proper analysis of weekly trading charts, one can not succeed in position trading

Position trading is risky. I can not trust the market trends to dictate whether I get losses or profits. The market never favors anyone. Again, it requires a trader to have a large trading capital since you buy and hold a position until your exit point reaches. That is too much risk in my opinion

The stop loss in position trading is wide, and it can be very confusing for those who do not have experience in fundamental analysis of market trends. I would not recommend position trading for newbies since it requires a lot of capital and the probability to lose is high, if you don't know how to interpret the market
