How to make money with Varolo
One of the most common questions submitted through the Varolo support forum is “how much money can I make watching ads?” This question by itself shows that the person asking doesn’t understand how Varolo works. While I will attempt to answer this question here, if you have this question I suggest you watch the full Varolo presentation here.
First, there have been many companies in the past that have tried to pay consumers for the ads they watch. These models don’t ever work because the individual revenue from a single ad is so low (often a penny or less). So someone thinks they can make a lot of money watching ads, they watch hundreds of ads in a week and generate earnings of less than $4.00 total. That model never works! In Varolo there are three ways to make money… all of which is significant money.
Jackpot
The first is the weekly jackpot. While some people don’t care for this because they believe it only has to do with chance. This is a common misconception. Each ad you watch is like a lottery ticket. The more ads you watch the more chances you have to win. That is chance. HOWEVER, there is a “splash up effect” that allows others to each win a 10 percent equivalent of the jackpot each week. So if Alice sponsored Bob, and Bob sponsored Chris, and Chris sponsored David and David sponsored Edith and Edith one the weekly jackpot, David, Chris, Bob and Alice would all win 10 percent of what Edith won. So those that promote Varolo and build a village can have increased chances to win because ANYONE in their village that wins the jackpot means that they also win! In the example above, if Edith wins $10,000 this week, Alice, Bob, Chris, and David would each win $1,000 as well! It pays to grow a village even with the jackpot and it isn’t all about chance.
Varolo Village
The second way you make money with Varolo is with your Varolo Village. As you invite and sponsor people in Varolo you build your Varolo Village. Anyone you invite, your friends invite, those friends invite and even those people invite all are included in your Varolo village (4 degrees of separation from you), and you can earn a fixed percentage of the ad revenue when those individuals watch ads. When your villagers watch ads, they accumulate “village earnings” for you. You then have to claim those earnings by watching ads yourself. The system is designed for users to watch an average of 10 minutes of ads each day. No, you don’t have to login and watch every day, but you will likely have to log in a few times (at least) each week to claim all of your earnings. This forces everyone to participate. No one can just build a big village and never login to Varolo and collect big checks. Everyone participates and everyone wins.

FOR WATCHING 20 ADS YOU WOULD GET 20 CHANCES TO WIN THE HUGE WEEKLY JACKPOT BUT YOU WOULDN’T EARN ANYTHING ELSE. YOU ONLY EARN MONEY BY WATCHING ADS IF YOU HAVE VILLAGERS THAT ARE WATCHING ADS AND THEN YOU CLAIM THOSE VILLAGE EARNINGS BY WATCHING ADS YOURSELF. IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO PROMOTE AND SHARE VAROLO WITH YOUR FRIENDS, THE ONLY CHANCE YOU HAVE OF MAKING MONEY IS EITHER THROUGH THE WEEKLY JACKPOT OR THE AFFILIATE PROGRAM (EXPLAINED LATER).
Promoting Varolo, building a village, and claiming village earnings is a GREAT way to earn extra money. Here are a few money making scenarios that can illustrate the power of building a Varolo Village.
You sponsor 6 friends that sponsor 6 friends that sponsor 6 that sponsor 6 (exponential growth of 6) = a village of 1554. If all of them were watching 10 minutes of ads/day on average at the lowest possible ad price of $0.01/ad, you would earn $230.64/month
You invite 10 friends with exponential growth = a village of 11,110. At 10 minutes of ads/day at $.02/ad view you would earn $3,060.32/month
If you invite 12 friends with exponential growth = a village of 22,620. At 10 minutes of ads/day at $.04/ad view you would earn $12,237.31
There are no limits on how many people you can sponsor or be on any of your degrees of separation. At Varolo, we don’t believe in limits.
In these examples, they assume all ads at a certain price which will not be the case. Some ads and ad channels will command much higher ad prices than others but $.01 is the lowest possible ad price. These examples also assume everyone watching 10 minutes of ads/day on average. There may be a time when more ads may be watched which will increase earnings if users watch additional ads. These examples also assume a perfect exponential growth across all users which never happens. You will have one guy that doesn’t do anything and another guy that will personally sponsor 100 people. There is also the assumption that there are always enough ads to view. This likely would only be an issue early on for Varolo, but as advertisers come and go, if there is a time when there are not enough ads for everyone to watch 10 minutes/day, that would lower the earnings.
Affiliate Program
The final way you can make money with Varolo is through the affiliate program. In this program, you can find advertisers who want to use Varolo to promote their products or services. You register as an affiliate on the Varolo.com website. Then you find businesses that want to use Varolo and identify you as the individual that introduced them to Varolo. When these advertisers show their ads on Varolo, you will earn 3 percent of the money they spend on advertising. You do not have to watch ads or participate in any other part of Varolo to earn money from the affiliate program. If you are a Varolo member and also want to advertise, you can list yourself as the affiliate and receive a discount of 3% on your Varolo advertising.
Many small and medium sized businesses do not have any video or commercial quality ads. For that we have created a partnership with a creative firm that can create an inexpensive ad for you. Once created, you can load the ad into Varolo and advertise like any other business.
