Job Description - Project Coordinator
Project Area Description
• Assist the Program/Project Manager(s) with Project Change Coordination tasks on one or more assigned projects.
• The Primary tasks include Change Process Management and communication with Client Application
• Support Contacts, IBM Change Support team, IBM Delivery Support Teams and IBM Management Teams.
The tasks may include Project management of small projects.
Major responsibilities / activates:
• Coordinate project resources to plan & deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope
• Ensure compliance with WWPMM and local processes and procedures for assigned projects
• Report on assigned projects to meet local, A/NZ and global reporting requirements.
• Project Stakeholder Management Planning & management of other Client & IBM Stakeholders
• Forecast & engage project resourcing for assigned projects
• Project Risk, Issue & Change Management
• Manage schedule for assigned projects and ensure on time completion
• Review, maintain and improve their Project Management skills.
Desired Experience (e.g. type of work, projects, area of business etc)
• Experience working in a project team.
• Strong team work.
• Keenness and ability to learn new technical concepts and processes quickly.
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Experience in coordinating and leading decision making processes.

Responsibilities:
• Manage project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables.
• Apply techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management.
• Manage all project resources, including subcontractors
• Establish an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer
• Provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the customer
• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Strong technical experience and knowledge in one of the following regions:
• Mid-Range/Server; PC/Desktop
• Network; Security
• Other IT Infrastructure related experience
• PMI, PMP, Prince2 certificates is an added advantage
Required
• Associate's Degree/College Diploma
• At least 2 years experience in Project Management; ITIL Certification
• English: Fluent
Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree
