The above is correct. And yeap, verified source of MT is a must or you can put your PC at the risk of non-authorized software making changes there or even stealing your important credentials.
Got fascinated with the DMA offer, huh?

Thanks everyone! Got you. You know, I actually got used to the web-platform already. Not so bad, actually :) Nevertheless, thanks for the replies.

Ehh, well, fascinated is probably the correct word to use here, but I’m just planning to run a standard CFD account first. I don’t plan to invest over $500 with the unknown broker to start with.

That’s understandable. I used to trade CFDs here. Gues you don't have reasons to worry at this point.
Myself I plan to do investments via tradecom portfolios. First I was happy I didn’t hurry with the decision when the retracement has started. Yet, now it looks like I’ve missed the proper moment for the entry. It that was the end of retracement that came along with the peak of corona madness - I’ll be very disappointed.

Huh, coronavirus... the us economy has got bigger troubles than those. I totally agree, it's too late to invest and about time to strat thinking about the big short.

If you've watched the Big Short movie, you must understand that even if you are 100% right about the economical situation in the country, your deposit might simply not be enough to sit out the governmental attempts to pretend all is fine. They can do it year after year, SnP will keep growing, and yoju can only sit and pray your big short does not grow into a margin call.

This is why I prefer daytrading. People often say investments are much more profitable in a long run. I don't think so. For gamblers that's true. They should better invest in bonds and get their 2-3% yearly. For daytraders the sky is the limit.
The worst thing about SnP investments is not only that the government intrudes in fundamentals aggresssively enough to ruin the whole puzzle you've had in mind ()they can actually do it overnight). The biggest problem about SnP longs is that the asset grows slowly enough, but loses its value like a face mask after the first use. You can wait a year or two to gain 10-15% to your investment and then lose it all and above in just one week.

You are speaking as if there are no other means to invest but buy the whole pack of snp500. Even this particular broker that this thread is discussing, they"ve got enough different options of investment portfollios there ranging from the mentioned above bonds to some very alternative directions of investments.

How is reliable this broker trade .com ?
The broker is CySEc regulated, they've got flawless withdrawals and fine executions on CFD accounts. Haven't tried the other services yet.

I don't think anyone really wanted to argue about one or another approach. The thing is that the risk is always there, and normally its very proportional to the expected profits. That's it. Same with daytrading. I agree it can be more profitable, but there is the same size of the risk there too.

I can argue with that. What kind of investmetn can give you a 1:10 risk to reward ratio? Or even 1:15? Daytrading allows finding the entry points with unbelievably small stop losses applied. This is why I likje it that much. Yeah, that's psychologically difficult, but its worth it in the end.
