The midrange Xperia SP will be the cheapest LTE smartphone in the Malaysian market--retailing at RM1,299 (US$427), the smartphone will be available tomorrow (April 26) together with the budget Xperia E and E Dual, the dual-SIM variant.
The E and E Dual are budget 3G handsets running on a single-core 1GHz processor. Both smartphones will have 4GB of storage (but it's expandable) and 512MB of RAM. The Xperia E will run Android 4.1 while the E Dual will launch with Android 4.0 (an update to 4.1 has been promised).
The E and E Dual will cost RM499 (US$164) and RM599 (US$167) respectively.
