:Responsibilities:
Corporate Planning
• To plan, develop and oversee the successful execution of the full spectrum of activities of the corporate business planning cycle to support the CEO, Management and key managers in the development of the long term strategic plan and annual corporate business plan and the delivery of key performance indicators
• To develop the long term strategic plan and annual corporate business plan and corporate performance indicators (KPIs) for CEO and BOD’s approval
• To provide quarterly corporate performance reports to the CEO and Management Committee
• To provide business advisory services to GMs/HODs of divisions/departments to support the alignment and translation of the corporate plan and key performance indicators (KPIs) into divisional and departmental plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) for execution
• To drive continuous improvements of our corporate plans and performance management through the continuous improvement of our strategic planning and performance management frameworks, processes, methods, tools which are aligned with innovative and leading best practices
• To deliver market and industry trends and competitors reports that will impact the achievement of our corporate strategies and plans trough market and industry trends and competitors research
• To deliver special projects and assignments as assigned by the Head, Corporate Planning and Strategy
• To provide leadership, development and performance management for personnel in the corporate planning & CEO’s office function
• To deliver special projects, assignments and support for CEO’s office as assigned by the Head of Corporate Planning and Strategy
CEO’s Office
• To establish, manage and continuously improve the operations of the CEO office as a support function for the CEO and the execution of projects under the direct preview of the CEO’s office
Anticipating, filtering and accelerating key issues and business matters of the organisation to the Head of Corporate planning and strategy and the CEO
To review submission by div/depts and/or the development of the following. Examples include :-
o BOD papers, strategy papers and progress updates
o Corporate Policies & Committees
o Governance & Audit – Corporate level
o CEO presentations (internal and external)
• To carry out strategic review and/or the development of key business proposals/papers as assigned by the Head of Corporate Planning and Strategy and the development of executive briefings/summary and recommendations to support CEO decision making
• To track, monitor and report on all CEO key priority requests to GMs/HODs and key deliverables and timelines
• To design and develop standard presentation/proposals template for the CEO’s office
• To ensure proper centralized storage of all confidential CEO office information
• To lead and execute special projects and tasks as assigned by the Head of Corporate Planning and Strategy.
:Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Law, Finance or its equivalent from a top university. MBA from a top university is advantageous.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years work experience with a minimum of five (5) years’ senior manager level experience in corporate planning/strategy development
• The role is personally responsible to craft/develop the three (3) year strategic and annual business plans and the candidate must possess the required skills and experience (At least 3 years) in business plan writing to deliver a high quality and best practice plan
• This is a senior specialist position and candidate must possess in-depth experience and competencies in business planning. The role will be required to provide advisory/consultancy to CEO and Management levels
• Experience in the ICT industry would be advantageous
• Strong leadership skills, ability to build business relationships and to secure buy-in at all levels
• Thought leadership, strategic thinker with highly analytical and flexible problem solving approach
• Thrive under pressure, highly adaptable, enjoy problem solving and working in a dynamic work environment
• Strong business acumen, results oriented, passion to excel, highly committed and ability to meet tight timelines.
• Excellent English business writing and communications skills is a pre-requisite
• Excellent C-level presentation skills
