- Formulate and implement tactical sales plans, achieve sales targets and gross profit budget as set out by Management
- To grow market share and customer base; assist on the longer term planning by providing forecasts of future product demand and requirement
- Build positive working relationships through a collaborative working approach, both internally and externally to support prompt remedy for quality, supply or debtor problems
- Stay abreast of on market trends and competitor activity in order to provide regular and specific feedback and to recommend marketing or product initiatives to meet perceived needs
- Increase customer base and market share by establishing new customer accounts
- To comply with credit control policy and ensure minimal bad debt
- Motivate and develop team members for optimum performance and productivity
Requirements
- SPM, Diploma or Degree in any related discipline
- 5 – 8 years working experience in sales and account management with at least 3 years in sales management capacity; preferably in the similar or trading of building materials industry
- Dynamic, self-motivated and energetic go-getter with a strong determination to achieve sales targets and meet high customer service standards
- Ability to cope with a complex and changing environment while projecting a positive sales attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Conversant in Mandarin and other Chinese dialects is an added advantage (need to deal for their China/Taiwan Client)
