Liverpool Possible Transfers for January, Rafa is looking to buy British if possible. Rafa is looking at the precarious situation at Man City to see if he can finally get his man in Gareth Barry. Although Bridge is currently injured, Rafa looked at him well before his transfer to City. Undoubtedly, Roque Santa Cruz is, alongside Craig Bellamy, the most angry player at Eastlands due to Hughes' sacking as he had strong connections with Hughes. Liverpool did bid for him before his transfer to City but Blackburn accepted a higher bid from City. Liverpool could put a loan bid in for him. Rafa wants to add Matthew Upson to the defence.
