RoboMarkets: changes in trading conditions for the Turkish Lira instruments (Elections in Turkey)

Dear Clients and Partners,​

We’re informing you that due to the presidential elections in Turkey on June 25th 2018, trading conditions for the Turkish Lira (TRY) instruments will be changed:

• From June 22nd to June 26th 2018, "Close only" will the only mode for USDTRY and EURTRY instruments.
• On June 27th 2018, all trading conditions for USDTRY and EURTRY instruments will be restored to standard.

We recommend you to take into account these changes when planning your trading activity and modify the number and volume of your open positions in advance.

RoboMarkets implements ESMA’s new requirements on July 30th 2018

Dear Clients and Partners,​

The European Securities and Markets Authority's (ESMA) new requirements relating to conditions for providing CFD trading to Retail clients of financial organizations that perform their operations in the European Union countries will come into effect. These requirements will be applied to all EU companies.

For your convenience, we’ve prepared the complete list of upcoming changes with their clarification:

1. Leverage limitations.

Starting from July 30th 2018, the maximum leverage value for all newly-opened CFD positions will be limited depending on the asset type:

In case there are open positions on your accounts on July 30th 2018, the leverage value for them won’t be changed and the margin requirements will remain intact until the moment these positions are closed. If you have CopyFX subscription you may need to adjust the subscription's settings accordingly.

How to continue trading after new requirements are introduced

2. "Stop Out" on a per account basis.

This feature will standardize the percentage of margin (at 50% of minimum required margin) at which a provider is required to close out one or more of your open CFD positions.

3. Negative balance protection on a per account basis.

From now on, all the traders are guaranteed with the negative balance protection. However, this service has been availbale available for RoboMarkets clients since a long time. Negative balance protection ensures that a trader can't lose more money than they have on their account.

On July 30th 2018, RoboMarkets will apply the above-mentioned changes to all your accounts without open positions. The changes will be applicable only to Retail Clients.

The changes won't apply to RoboMarkets Professional clients

ESMA’s new requirements won’t affect the "Professional Client" category. Any client of the Company, including you, has an opportunity to apply for re-categorization in accordance with the specified criteria.

Being a Professional client, you can:

• Join "Cashback (Rebates)" and "Up to 10% on account balance" programs.
• Use the leverage up to 1:500.
• Receive deposit bonuses.
• Become a VIP client.
