Regulated Broker

A regulated broker is a broker that operates under the oversight and regulation of a financial regulatory authority. This means that the broker is required to comply with certain rules and regulations, which are designed to protect traders and ensure fair and transparent trading conditions. Regulated brokers are typically considered to be more trustworthy and reliable than unregulated brokers, as they are held to higher standards of transparency and accountability.

Personally, I give priority to regulation factor the most. A broker’s service and security highly depend on its regulation to a high extent. Another thing that I notice is whether I am going to face any dealing desk and reqoutes issue with the broker.

Regulators require brokers to maintain adequate liquidity and have sufficient capital to cover their client obligations. Brokers are regularly audited.
