The reform, which clarifies the custody of digital assets for investment advisors and funds, has been sent to the White House. This is part of a broader shift under Chairman Paul Atkins from aggressive enforcement to creating an official regulatory framework. The document will now be reviewed by the OMB, after which the SEC will vote on its publication for public comment.
Wall Street analysts remain optimistic despite the current correction. According to Bernstein’s forecast, Bitcoin will not only recover to its 2025 highs but will also set new records, reaching $125,000 by the end of 2026. Analysts note that the previous 50% drop from the October 2025 peak was followed by a rapid 28% rally over the last 10 days. Institutional investors are playing a key role in supporting the market, providing for smaller drawdowns compared to previous cycles.
Financial giant Revolut has begun the phased rollout of its own euro-pegged stablecoin (EURR) to customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal. Approximately 2 million users will gain access to the new asset via the retail app. EURR is issued by Luxembourg-based Bridge Building S.A. and is fully compliant with MiCA regulations. The launch comes as Revolut phases out Tether (USDT) in the European Economic Area, with remaining balances to be converted to base currency after August 31.
