Another great demo contest is over at
OctaFX! It’s been a tough fight, with traders struggling for the prizes for a month. According to our tradition, we have interviewed the winners, asked them to share their success stories for everyone to see and follow. Now, let’s allow our winners speak for themselves:
1st prize

Q: What is the key factor of your success? Why are you better than everyone else?
A: The key factor of my success is applying "Optimized EA" (optimized for about a year long). I've spent lot of time to adjust the EA's parameter for the winning trades. Now my EA does every thing for me. This is my distinction and that's why definitely I say the EA trading is better than manual always. Majors or exotic tools, it doesn't make any difference to me. I believe only on optimized tools by myself.
Q: How long does it take to become a good trader?
A: In my experience it takes 1-2 years to become a good trader.

Q: What is the key factor of your success? Why are you better than everyone else?
A: My day trading is basically based on Scalping method.I always take profit on each trades. I prefer not to wait longer as market is always uncertain. I look forward for persistence profit without aggressive trading. I have been trading last 4 years and had gone through the good and bad of trading career. From thereon, i managed to adopt own simple strategy.
Q: What trading tools are most preferred by you? Majors or exotic, and why?
A: I do scalping on most of my trading activities based M5. I used MACD, trend histogram, stochastic oscillator to determine the next market move

Q: What would you advise to traders out there?
A: Risk management and money management is a key to success. Taking minimal risk leads to success. I adhere to only manual trading. Trade instrument mainly EURUSD, rarely GBPUSD. EURUSD is a very popular trading tool, you can find a lot of advise and recommendations for it in the Internet. I trade Forex more than 2 years.
