Mr. Adams is President of Nordage Investments. Before joining, Mr. Adams was an Assistant Vice President with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in New York, where he was responsible for its activities in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Prior to joining Metropolitan Life, Mr. Adams was employed by Rockresorts, Inc. in the Virgin Islands.
W. Fleming
Managing Director, Nordage Investments, Inc.
Mr. Fleming joined Nordage Investments in 2000 and is Managing Director with regional responsibilities in all of Asia. He also serves as the portfolio manager for Asian and Japanese funds. Prior to joining NI, Mr. Fleming co-founded Hudson International, a boutique investment bank specializing in insurance mergers and acquisition transactions. Mr. Fleming also served as a managing director in the financial institutions group at JP Morgan in New York. Mr. Fleming held senior level positions and was senior vice president and head of the corporate development department, and coordinated the restructuring and demutualization of Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States. He was the Chief Financial Officer of Equitable Investment Corporation and coordinated the IPOs and dispositions of several of its subsidiaries such as Alliance Capital, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Equitable Capital Management Corporation and Equitable Real Estate Investment Management. In 1995, Mr. Fleming coordinated the sale of Equitable Life Assurance Society's separate account real estate interests in the Ala Moana Center, Hawaii.
Mark Miller
Manager, Nordage Investments, Inc.
Mark Miller is Portfolio Strategist and Support Centre Manager since June 2005 with Nordage Investments Inc. He is responsible for helping advisors with the portfolio solutions they can offer their clients. Mark was previously Chief Investment Officer of Cartier Partners Financial Group. He was one of the founding partners of Cartier Capital Limited Partnership. He developed and structured each fund in Cartier's multimanagement family, drawing on his 30 years experience as a portfolio manager and strategist, economist, and business builder.
Before joining Cartier, Mark was Chief Investment Officer at Natcan Investment Management Inc. During his 4 years at Natcan, assets doubled, from $1.5 Billion to $3 Billion.
Mark spent two years as Chief Economist at Nesbitt Thomson & Co. He began his career as an economist with the Bank of Canada, in 1971. He has a BA and MA in Economics from the University of Montreal, and gained his CFA designation in 1979.
