But in Feb 2020, friction between DAP and Bersatu resulted in the collapse of Dr.M's government = PN and PM8 Muhyiddin took over. In Aug 2021, UMNO's Court Cluster engineered the fall of Muhyiddin = UMNO's PM9 Ismail Sabri took over the PN Federal govt.

In GE15 in Nov 2022, the Malay vote was further split between BN, PH and PN, resulting in PH gaining an upperhand in forming the PH-BN Federal government. DAP began to exert it's pro-Chinese racial influence on the govt, which angered many Malays, and angered even the royalties. This resulted in the Malays reuniting behind UMNO/BN in the Johor state election in July 2026.

This trend should continue for future elections, ie for the reunited Malays, it's ABD or Anyone But DAP; and for the united Chinese, it's ABP or Anyone But PAS.
