i just finished watching the whole 30 episodes of korean drama 'the legend'.. and i cant help but cry ((

What a great thing if we can cry while reciting the Holy Quran and the Sirah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW....

"same stuff for days"??? you mean cook one time and have it for several course (reheat)?? wow... not for me... i can take the same thing twice only... but if youre saying chicken or fish the whole week but different recipe, that one i can take.. no prob.. so everytime cook, small portion only..

on the same matter, there're some that like to cook a lot but then they portion it into several small containers and stock them inside a freezer (need to buy that ice-cream freezer)... whenever they need it, they just take it out and defrost them and reheat... good strategy for guy bachelor actually... whenever 'balik kampung', ask mom to cook a few dishes then stock them in small containers... those may last for a month...)

for dishes like gulai or asam pedas, i cook and keep it in small containers in d freezer. if its normal simple stuff, i just cook one portion at a time.

normally, i would bring them to seafood..

still within my budget . my friend gave me a mango which unfortunately is not sweet so i kept it and yesterday, i used it to cook gulai ikan sepat. haha. instead of buying a pineapple, i used the mango. i bought the dried fish when i was in kajang and kept it in the fridge. some fried stingray with tumeric and red chillies for the kids, mixed veggies and sambal belacan.

today i'm making mee rebus for friends. maybe i'll make corn pudding for dessert as I already have the ingredients for it.

that would save a lot of time and money...
i got a small freezer at my place here the size abt 1.5'(W)x3'(L)x2.5'(H)...
its now occupied mainly by durians in small containers...)

lets just say that i strayed out of that line for many years that my past experience in that field no longer counts as part of experience requirement for me to get that licence...
ive been here since jun2011... so, i should be able to sit for the exam this year... been saying that for some time already but i havent sent in any application yet...
The worst thing is that i dont like to open up old books and restudy them... Done that last year for the CWI (Certified Welding Inspector)... Got certified but no use in here actually... but if couple with NDT (Non Destructive Test) certificate, that would be awesome... maybe i should con the company into sending me for this course instead...)))
