New English Thread

well... i am a reader... and yes... i will read almost anything in this thread...:))

abt that fb... just say that i dont feel good about myself... i was, but not anymore... at least these few years back... at some stage, you should reach your milestone... i was right on path previously, but then smtg happened and you reeled off way.... way way off the track...:"> and because of that, i hate reading other people's success story especially my class/batch mates...:))
its time for catching up... and until then, i will isolate my self from fb...:)

1 week left for what? for your study? if thats the case, then stay focus into what really matters so that you pass it with flying colors... then, move on from there... wish you the best of luck..

thats.... massive, & impressive :))

oh never thought that someone like u is trapped in that kinda dilemma. well, been there too. n still there :)). because right now i feel kinda useless. sorta loser. it started long time ago, like unable to get out of that lousy school even i got 9A in pmr (well i think u already knew i hated my school very much, n worked hard to get out of there but i was meant to be there), n chose the wrong field of study. n still lamenting on that. lol. my friends already written their own kinda success stories, with kids, career n everything, n am still like this. thats why am avoiding any kinda gathering because dont want to face any disturbing questions. n am not that close to them anyway :">. but of course they would respect me more than they would years ago because right now am totally a different person, but not yet successful. am on my way though.

yap my training wud last only a week from now. saturday i would go back to melaka insha Allah :)

i don't think they gonna make a report. because there's something with the motorcycle. they just let it go, i mean the stolen motorcycle. they didnt take any action at all.

okay. noted. i gonna make a report next time. thanks. :)

but, let say they make a report, then what should i do? :-?

then you have to make a report too...
but normally, its good to do it while its still fresh/recent... with all the evident still there... like a car dent, etc...

actually my path was quite simple and straight forward...:D
just that i frequently made the wrong decision for the wrong reason when it really matters...
always choosing the harder way when it was not really necessary...
not that i am doing bad... just that i want more...
sounds greedy, right? but nothing wrong with that...
i want to be the best of the best...
i am telling you, i am very competitive in a way...
and sometimes, being second is not acceptable...
i guess, i am my own worst enemy...:))

really? :-? hmm. okay then.

gonna take it to the police if i had the situation later.

thanks a lot. :D

so how are you?

well, today i've done some physical examination on a 32-year-old male patient, with a heart disease. he's still young, with heart problems. :(

very tired actually but still fine...:)
a lot of problem here and there at work but thats part of it...
2 practical trainees going to report mid of this month and i havent got any time yet to lay out their training plan...
at the same time, my boss has tendered his resignation and i'll be 'bossless' by next year...:))

that patient of yours... what kind of condition he got?
for such a young age, what contribute? or it is those we normally term as 'lemah jantung' or 'jantung berlubang'... my cousin's son got that since birth, but was treated when he was 10... i'm not sure the detail though...

bossless? sounds fun. but doesnt it make you the boss? :))

erm, it's more to the family history. my patient,he's having chest pain for the second time now, the first time, he got it a few months ago. he's not fat or anything. it just runs in the family. his father has heart problems too and his uncle died early due to sudden cardiac death. this patient has hypertension i guess, judging on the medication he taken. he said he usally exercised, but one day, he couldnt even climbed up the stairs.

your cousin is having congenital heart disease if i'm not mistaken. the congenital heart disease usually associated with children. there's usually a defect at the child's heart, probably after birth. because during pregnancy, the fetal circulation is totally different than adult human. after birth, the baby's arteries and veins will be occluded, they're called umbilical arteries and veins. and some of the 'holes' in the heart will be closed. problem arise when any 'holes' of the heart does not closed. we call this congenital heart disease, jantung berlubang.

about the lemah jantung, i think it's called congestive heart failure, more to adults. there's a lot of categories really.

like serangan jantung, we called it myocardial infraction. :)

i dont like becoming a boss actually...
except becoming my own boss... that would be the ultimate...
whatever it is, i know it wont be me...:">
because i am lacking the 'qualification' and the experience...
this work i am doing right now is kind of a new deviation from my usual field last time... so i still need some time to be there...
the time will come if i choose to stay,
but knowing my tendency, i might venture into a new area...:D

yes... this 13dec... but that is another totally different certificate...
the certification needed for this job is the engineer's steam cert class 2 and class 1...
if i am staying, i plan to take it next year or the year after... depending on how ready i am...
this one is tougher... other than written test, there would also be a panel interview... and that is very intimidating, i am telling you...:))

that reminds me of one job interview i attended last time... interviewed by a panel of 6 people...
i havent finished answering a question, another question already came in... and that continued till the end...
they purposely did that to break you down...l:))#:-S

wow. sounds big. interview? :o

i don't like being interviewed.but it's quite scary right when you havent stop answering, another one came in. we just have to bear with it.

i could say that i've been into two big interviews. both are for medics. during my first medic interview, i didnt study well, so when i was asked, what subject you're going to learn, i could only smiled. and the interviewer kinda mad really. and he told me the answers. i find out that the interviewer is the dean for that med school. no wonder he's mad.

my second medic interview, going quite well, with the same question asked. so i use what the dean told me in the previous interview. :)) and i passed. and during that interview, when i speak malay, i've slipped out the word 'depa' instead of 'diorang', and the interviewers laughed. :))
