sooo... when's the trip? i am not sure if it is a good idea to go there during rainy season.

for those elective... who is paying the expenditure... and how long would that be?

naa. we havent decide it yet. with no holidays till feb, plus we refused to go there on weekend. so we'll discuss about it again later.

we have to ask for sponsorship for the elective. actually we should plan the elective by now, and have to present it to the supervisor who is also a doctor. then, we have to present the paperwork again by feb, to be approved by the head of elective. so it gonna take the whole third year planning for the elective, and the probability for the paperwork to be rejected is very high.

but if i'm not mistaken, if the paperwork is accepted, then we gonna get some budget from the med school.

the run of the project gonna be after the end of third year, before the beginning of our fourth year. we planned to go to the orang asli village, handling on mobile clinic maybe, because it's easier to get the sponsorship from the hospital and the university. or maybe going to rural places in this state. :)

yep. what's important is the maturity. actually there was this one junior, and he kinda had a crush on me. :p but he's too... erm.. i don't know how to say. sort of childish maybe. like i have to be the mature one. :p

that past experience with that teacher. hmm. yeah. learn a lot. i learnt how he dislike doctors, working long hours and stuff. he even said that he wanted his wife to stop working and be a housewife once they have children. so i disagree with him and that's it.

it's a long story anyway. :p:))

it is quite selfish to expect the wife to stay at home..
these days, it is hard to survive on one income unless youre very rich...
and becoming a full time housewife can be very boring...
and everyone wish to earn their own living... at least something for their own shopping..:D

so true.

it's hard to survive on one income these days. #:-S

i'm not going to waste my 6 years of med school, 2 years of HO, and end up being a housewife. at least i wanna become a specialist. :D

about the shopping part, it's true. i wanna spend some money on few other things too. :">:D

what to say... spending your own money is always more gratifying and guilty free... and nobody can restrict you...
somemore, you sure want to spare some for your parent too...
so, good move for you. case close! :)):))

some of the senior groups went abroad. but not on humanitarian mission. more like a visit really. kinda weird how doctors would approve that. :p:))

but yeah. we would prefer to do it locally. plus i dont think my parents gonna allow me to go abroad for mission.

when i was abroad last time, some students (at some univ at the west coast) did request some funds from the MSD (Malaysian Student Department) to organise some sort of a party... it was approved and the MSD officers were there too to enjoy themselves too...:))#:-S
