MT4 vs MT5 vs cTrader

I also like trading in MT4. I created my trading strategy on this trading platform, so its functionality is more than enough for comfortable trading.

MT4, MT5, and cTrader each have unique features that cater to different trading styles. MT4 is widely used for its simplicity, ease of use, and robust charting tools, making it ideal for forex traders, especially beginners. MT5, the successor to MT4, offers more timeframes, advanced charting, and built-in economic calendar, along with support for trading multiple asset classes. cTrader stands out for its intuitive interface, faster order execution, and advanced order types. It also offers better charting and a built-in trading community. Ultimately, the choice depends on your trading preferences, asset focus, and the tools you prioritize.

cTrader's main difference is its more professional approach to analysis and trading. So, if you want to trade at a professional level, see real market liquidity, and value a modern design, look for a broker with cTrader.

Each platform is solid, but the right one really depends on your style. MT4 still feels enough for many forex traders, MT5 (I use one from hfm) is stronger for testing and multi asset work. I think the best platform is the one that fits your method, not the one that only looks more advanced
