lot calculation size?

salam otai forex,

nak tanya kat otai macam mana nak kira lot position size.

contoh la;

modal= $100
leverage plak 1:200
lot size= 100,000

persoalan nya saya nak guna 10% dari modal tu or equity?
so berapa lot yang boleh saya trade sama banyak sebanyak 10% dari modal tu?

betul ke kira ni?
1 lot = 100, 000/200
=$500 modal diperlukan untuk 1 lot?

oleh sebab modal ada $100 iaitu 20% daripada $500, jadi paling banyak aku boleh beli ialah 0.2 lot?

klu aku nak guna 10% daripada modal tu maka aku trade 0.02 lot ke?

Leverage 1:200 = 500:100,000

nilai 1 lot = $500

$100 = 0.2 lot <-- tapi kalo modal $100 je mmg xleh open 0.2lot kot.. mane nak tolak spread lg, nak tolak %MC lg, nak cover -ve pips lg..

0.02 adelah 10% dr modal.. tapi 1 tuh je la leh bukak.. kalo open 0.01 leh la bukak 2..

ni mini acc ke bro? kalo modal $100 baik micro kot.. lg safe..

A standard lot in Forex trading equals 100.000 units of any given currency, to arrive at the calculation of how much is 0.01 Lot all we need to do is multiply 0.01 times 100.000, the result is 1.000.

Salam, betul! Untuk guna 10% modal ($10), kira:
0.02 lot
Modal diperlukan = (Lot size × Volume) ÷ Leverage.
Untuk 0.02 lot:
= (100,000 × 0.02) ÷ 200 = $10.
Memenuhi 10% modal.

Always calculate your lot size correctly. When your lot size is too large, every price move against you causes stress and fear. Therefore, a proper lot size makes risk comfortable, and even the worst-case scenario won't critically impact your deposit.

For small capital, the question is not only how much margin is needed, but how much loss you can accept if price goes against you. I prefer calculating lot size from stop loss first on HFM, because 0.02 can be safe or too big depending on the pair and stop distance
