ABOUT THE NAME
Juno Markets is named after the Roman goddess Juno Moneta. In Roman mythology, Juno Moneta was the protectress of funds. As such, money in ancient Rome was coined in her temple. The word “moneta” is where we get the words “money”, or “monetize”.
Our logo incorporates the J and M from Juno Markets and is in the shape of a coin in honor of Juno Moneta.
At Juno Markets we’re passionate about trading. Founded by industry veterans, who believe in delivering long-term value to their clients and partners through a superior trading environment, personal service and always living up to the trust placed in the company.
Juno Markets was founded with a clear focus on delivering a global-minded broker to the Asian market. Founded and headquartered in Asia, we’ve worked hard to ensure an optimal trading experience for clients in the region. All of our technology including websites, trading servers, and liquidity providers are locally hosted in Asia. This translates to superior client service, faster execution, and minimal slippage for our traders.
Juno Markets was founded by industry executives who understand the needs of clients in Asia. Combining their background and experiences, they've established a broker catered specifically for clients in the region.
MORTEN FILLIPSEN has held a number of senior positions with the Denmark based online forex bank, Saxo Bank. Most notably as global head of retail business as well as commercial head of the bank’s Greater China region. Morten grew up in China and has since then worked in several locations throughout Asia, building a deep understanding of the needs of the Asia-based clientele. Morten is passionate about using technology to improve the client experience as well as how big data can be applied to give traders an extra edge.
ARTHUR LE has been in the leveraged FX industry for over 10 years and has been working with clients in Asia since 2008. Arthur was formerly VP of Institutional Sales at US based forex broker FXCM primarily focusing on developing partnerships throughout Asia. Prior to founding Juno Markets, Arthur was Managing Director of Asia for a leading FX technology firm where he established and successfully grew their Asia headquarters. Arthur strongly believes in the value of combining technology with personal service to build strong partnerships.
Receiving industry recognition is a key milestone for any broker. Juno Markets has two years running been awarded for its unique partnership program as well as its contribution to particularly the Chinese FX market.
