Fewer Than 50 People Watch JKOM’s Podcast – But They Still Burn MILLIONS Of Your Tax Money Every Year!
RM16 million a year. Thousands of staff. Zero real results.
Abolish JKOM now? Even PH ( AMANAH & DAP ) parties are begging the government to shut down JKOM
(JKOM) must never forget: every sen of its salary, operational cost and allocation comes from the people’s money — not PKR’s pocket, not Pakatan Harapan’s war chest, but hard-earned taxpayers’ ringgit.
Its original and only legitimate job is crystal clear:
To explain government policies and programmes to the rakyat in a neutral, professional and effective way.
It is NOT supposed to function as PKR’s private propaganda vehicle, and definitely not as a taxpayer-funded attack dog for internal party wars against Rafizi.
Yet in Budget 2025 and 2026, JKOM is handed RM16 million a year of public money while it openly does the exact opposite:
Running a Director-General’s podcast that barely gets 50 viewers
Paying sky-high salaries for officers who produce “syiok sendiri” content nobody watches.
Yet JKOM is allocated a staggering RM16 million every year for 2025 and 2026 — and employs hundreds, if not thousands, of staff and officers nationwide.
Think about that for a second.
If the Director-General’s own official podcast cannot even break 50 views per episode — despite having an army of hundreds or thousands of JKOM employees under his command — what does that tell you?
It means not even his own staff bother to click, watch or share the content.
Not a single “support bos” view from the people whose salaries he signs every month.
That is the very definition of “makan gaji buta” on a massive, industrial scale.
RM16 million a year, thousands of manpower, and the boss’s own podcast gets fewer viewers than a random TikTok cat video.
That alone proves the entire department is rotten with laziness, incompetence and zero accountability.
Worst of all, allowing itself to be weaponised for PKR internal politics — constantly issuing statements and social-media attacks to defame and undermine Rafizi Ramli and his team.
When the head of JKOM himself releases vomit-inducing, logic-free bootlicking lines like.
“If the Prime Minister falls, the country will collapse” and
“Any attack on the PM shakes the very foundation of the nation”,
it is no longer communication — it is blind, cult-like worship paid for by you and me.
And when the same department is used to launch coordinated smears against Rafizi Ramli from the same coalition, it proves JKOM has become nothing more than a partisan hit squad disguised as a government agency.

1. Disband JKOM immediately and save the rakyat RM16 million a year
2. Overhaul it completely: sack the current leadership, ban all involvement in party politics, forbid personal attacks on any minister, and tie every future ringgit to real, measurable, non-partisan communication KPIs.
3. Make every single staff member’s salary dependent on real, measurable public engagement — starting with making sure the DG’s podcast gets more views than his office cleaner.
