Job Summary & Responsibilities

The primary role of the candidate is to design, develop, and support the set of PB Client and Business Facing Applications including Trade file processing, Web Payment Entry, PB Portal, , PB Internal support tools. The candidate is expected to participate in the entire software development life cycle from definition of requirements through deployment and support. The successful candidate will work closely with IT peers and operational professionals to define behavior, services, and interfaces for the tools under development. The candidate is expected to work closely with colleagues and users in other regions. On occasion, the candidate is expected to lead technical discussions with the global team members.

The candidate will have the opportunity to:

• Develop a deep understanding of the Prime Brokerage Business and associated business flows.
• Develop a deep understanding of GS PB CT systems and related applications.
• Build close working relationships with Business Users.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree or above in Computing, Information Technology or related disciplines;
• Solid foundation in Object Oriented design/development and Java implementation. computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
• Fluent in C/C++, Java (API, AJAX, JavaScript), knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming.
• Experienced in Java framework, JPA/Hibernate, struts2,spring, JSF is preferred
• Skilled in RDBMS, Database design and SQL development (MySQL, SQL Server)
• Web Integration - wsdl,rest, restful
• Application servers – Tomcat, JBoss, Apache etc.
• Experience providing high quality production support to a demanding user base.
• Experience with full project life cycle and enterprise Java delivery.
• 2 years’ experience or above preferably.
