CC comes from the old term carbon copy, when on paper mail a piece of Carbon Paper was put between paper sheets, it was the only quick way of producing two copies at once.
It denotes rank of importance. The "To" section is the main persons you want to inform.
The "CC" is for people who may need to know, but not be directly affected.
E.G. If you give someone a direction, you would send it in the "to" category.
If you want other departments to be aware of the action you could "cc" their

Aku ingat Cyber Cafe..hehe..gurau je..
Carbon Copy (CC) ni kalau kita wat surat konvensional, maksudnya "Salinan Kepada"
Kalau korang perasan, surat-surat rasmi mesti ada Salinan Kepada (S.K) di akhir surat..so bila terciptanya email ni, fungsi CC pun dimuatkan sekali..
Tapi, kalau kita banyak nak CC kat orang, takut penerima jadi semak tengok benda alah tu semua, macam orang forward email banyak2..so ada satu fungsi lagi, BCC (Blind Carbon Copy)
BCC ni kita bubuh email orang yang kita nak CC jugak, bezanya penerima tak nampak sape yang kita BCC-kan..contohnya:
Code:To : [email protected] CC : [email protected] BCC : [email protected]
Penerima (mail lambung) akan nampak seksyen FROM dan CC sahaja..dia tak tau email yang dia dapat tu pun diforward ke hafiz awan nano..
Sekian kuliah tambahan..
