Susulan dari pengumuman kenaikan gaji oleh kerajaan Malaysia baru-baru ini, Ijoi yang bekerja di syarikat swasta merasa tidak puas hati dengan gajinya sekarang dan dengan nekadnya telah menulis surat kepada majikannya untuk memohon kenaikan gaji.
Ijoi pun mengarang surat mohon naik gaji dengan mengambil kira situasi semasa yang berlaku sekarang ini.
Surat Ijoi kepada Majikan..

A$ all of u$ have read from the new$paper, the Malay$ia economy ha$ come out of the rece$$ion. Recently, the government’$ ju$t announced that civil $ervant$ will get pay ri$e.
In thi$ life, we all need $omething mo$t de$perately. I think you $hould $how under$tanding for the need$ of u$, worker$ who have given $o much $upport including $weat and $ervice to your company.

I kNOw you have been working very hard. NOwadays, NOthing much has changed. You must have NOticed that our company is NOt doing NOticeably well as yet.
NOw the newspapers are saying the world’s leading ecoNOmists are NOt sure if the United States may go into aNOther recession. After the NOvember NasiOnal elections things may turn bad.
I have NOthing more to add NOw. You kNOw what I mean.
