Since March 2010 every month Nord FX holds a two-week "DemoCup" contest. Every month's draw is $3 000. The annual prize fund is $46 000. Anyone may take part in the contest and participation is absolutely free.

Only practice (demo) accounts may participate in the contest, however all the awards are real. Who might become a winner? The names of top 10 will be announced in the monthly phase of the contest, names of those who can prove profitability of their trade strategies, those who starting trade using the demo account with virtual $10 000 and who have the largest deposit after two week period.

Terms are the same for all participants – both for beginners and experienced traders. What is the key for success? Luck? Perhaps. Exact calculation? Maybe. Experience and strong strategies? Daring innovations? Risk? For now nobody knows that. We will be able to know it only after the contest is finished, but anyone can keep an eye on the trade actions, account state and also trade results of the every contest participant in a real time. Rules of the contest:
Date and time of the next contest stage:

Start - 29.03.2010 02:00 (server time);
Finish - 09.04.2010 20:00 (server time);
Results and winners naming - 12.04.2010;


Registration to participate in the contest:

- each participant has the right to register only one account;
- each account is opened by the following link: http://contest.nordfx.com/;
-trading results of each participant are available in "monitoring of contest accounts" http://contest.nordfx.com/monitoring/ or in Мetatrader4 with investor's password NordFX;
- the accounts that are not included in monitoring are not allowed to participate in the contest;
- the initial deposit for participation is $ 10 000;
- leverage is 1:100;
- it is not allowed to make any transactions before the beginning or after the end of the contest;
- each participant has to close all opened positions and delete all pending orders by the end of the contest;
- at the end of the next phase of the contest the account becomes closed but remains available for public inspection;
- it is not allowed to work from the same IP address on different accounts participating in the contest;
- for each occurrence of the same IP addresses for different accounts these accounts will be disqualified banned; it is not allowed to work via proxy server or with the help of the programs changing real IP address;

Summary:

- the prizes are credited only for the real trading account of the participant and are available for withdrawal, as well as for trading;
- the winners are those participants whose account deposits are of the largest;
- if the deposit sizes of two or more participants of the contest are equal, prize amount is divided between them in equal shares;
- in order to get the prize, each participant must open a new real trading account, verify it and send the request containing contest account login, password and the number of real account;

Prizes for the monthly phases of the contest are as follows:

- 1st place - $1 000;
- 2nd place - $700;
- 3rd place - $500;
- 4th place - $200;
- 5th place - $100;
- 6th place - $100;
- 7th place - $100;
- 8th place - $100;
- 9th place - $100;
- 10th place - $100;
Total: $3 000


NordFX has a right to:

- disqualify a participant without prior notice in the event that the participant has violated the rules of the contest;
- annul a participant's results, as well as the prize award in the event that the participant has violated the rules of the contest;
- settle all disputed results by NordFX administration;
- all company's decisions are final and not subject to revision;
- use the information associated with prize accounts for promotional purposes and publish it in any sources of information.
