How to store memory in mobile apps

Hi, I m new to develop an mobile apps. Can I know how to store the data inside the memory of the apps itself? is there any tutorial on it? coz so far what I google all the result come out is just clear data without showing whether the data is been store inside the memory or not.

What I wanna is like user key in their data in the register page and it will display out what the user key in at the same time it is being store inside the memory of the apps itself. How?#:-S#:-S

I m using the phonegap. But I search the phonegap APIs there are just the function only n the more I search n read from the google the more i confuse.((
