How much leverage is safe?

Beginners shouldn’t exceed the limit of 1:100 leverage otherwise it will be harmful for them.

Leverage is a complex topic for every forex trader and different traders have different opinion over the use of leverage. I am a new trader and I have $500 capital. How much leverage should I use to stay on the safe side?
I think 1:1 is cool for them. If it is even less, then it is much better.

Leverage in forex trading is frequently misunderstood as having the potential to make traders instantly wealthy at the expense of magnifying losses. Traders should diversify their portfolios, employ technical and fundamental analysis, and avoid taking on too much risk if they want to use leverage efficiently. They should also have a risk management plan.
Leverage can be a powerful tool, but it requires careful handling. It's about making informed decisions and minimizing potential downsides.

Leverage is a loan provided by brokers to traders and traders have a control on their leverage. But increasing leverage size to earn big isn’t a wise decision.

1:50 will be a good choice for them and it will keep them out of risk.

Make sure it doesn exceed 1:1 because only that much leverage will keep you on the safe side.

I started from 1:200 leverage but I work on reducing it gradually as my account balance grows. This puts into practice the principle of investing that the more money you invest, the less should be your profit target in relative terms. For 10K deposit 1-2% monthly is OK, for 1K USD it can be 3-4%

1:500 is a good start but dont use too much capital....Because you will be donating a couple of deposits to the market first until you find your feet

Determining the appropriate leverage in forex trading hinges on various factors, including risk tolerance, trading strategy, and experience level. Novices are advised to exercise caution and start with lower leverage ratios, typically ranging from 1:1 to 5:1, to mitigate potential losses while learning the intricacies of the forex market. Intermediate traders may opt for leverage ratios between 5:1 and 10:1, balancing risk and potential returns. Advanced traders, equipped with robust risk management skills, may utilize higher leverage, up to 20:1 or even 50:1, but always with a keen awareness of the amplified risks involved. Ultimately, prudence and discipline should guide leverage decisions in forex trading.

Let it be $500 capital! How much will be the fitting leverage option for this amount?
