How many trades do you open in a week?

Around 10 trades because I am a scalper so I find numerous opportunities a day to open trades.

The number of trades you open in a week depends on your trading style and strategy. Scalpers, who seek to profit from small price movements, might execute dozens of trades daily. Day traders, focusing on short-term market movements, could make several trades each day. Swing traders generally open a few trades per week, aiming to capture price swings over a medium-term horizon. Position traders, who hold positions for the long term, trade less frequently, focusing on broader market trends. Ultimately, your trading frequency should align with your strategy and risk management approach.

The number of trades I open in a week depends on market conditions and my strategy, typically ranging from 3 to 10 trades. I focus on quality over quantity, ensuring each trade aligns with my analysis and risk management plan. This disciplined approach helps me avoid overtrading and emotional decisions, leading to more consistent results.
For me, it won’t be more than 3 to 4 trades. What about you?

Since I trade intraday, I open on average about 20 trades during the week and do not carry over my trades to the next business day.
