Hi, sorry been away from forum for a long time.
as promised, recomendations are now with exact rules.
zones which may look misleading, have changed to exact prices.
Also after tones of statistical calculations I've come up with approx. SL, ~30 pip. Such stop proved to be more efficient than any another, bigger than stated SL would be a waste of money, less than that, has bigger probability in unforseen circumstances to be taken.
Also statistical mean of retracement from levels varies around 20 pip. Such TP, even in worst case scenario, is hit rather frequently.
However with SL 30pip and TP 20pip, suffers R/R ratio. To prevent that there are 2 methods:
1. After 20pip to move SL to BE and wait for bigger profit.
2. To fix partially. After 20pip to fix half and leave rest with trailing stop.
Both ways have prose and cons, for now we'll work with 2nd.
If there will be mid-term to long-term targets, I'll post them here and that way we'll be using 1st method.
Currency pairs used: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCAD and USDCHF.
Each pair will have a number of lines, which represent entry prices. Entries should be made using pending orders.
To sum up, here are trading rules:
- SL 30pip (keep in mind your broker spread)
- TP1 20pip, after that partial fix and apply trailing stop.
- Each line should be traded only ONCE
- Each day new signals are published, so don't trade from yesterdays signals.
Sometimes when price won't reach line (pending order) 1-2pip and retrace ~20pp, such line is cancelled (remove pending order) and wait for price to reach another line (order).
To make things more clear here's an example:
2012.02.07 EURUSD
Red horizontal lines represent where should be pending orders placed. Red vertical line - begining of signals.
Left side of vertical line is no interest to us, only right side.
Top lines work as resistance => sell from them
Bottom lines - support => buy from them.
Example of pending orders:
BUY limit 1.3006, SL 1.2976(+spread), TP1 1.3026, TP2 trailing stop
BUY limit 1.2966, SL 1.2936(+spread), TP1 1.2986, TP2 trailing stop
SELL limit 1.3204, SL 1.3234(+spread), TP1 1.3184, TP2 trailing stop
SELL limit 1.3247, SL 1.3277(+spread), TP1 1.3227, TP2 trailing stop
SELL limit 1.3284, SL 1.3314(+spread), TP1 1.3264, TP2 trailing stop
With such setup, your work for the day is finished, just wait for some pending order to activate and collect 20pip to apply trailing stop.
Each day I'll be posting new signals and by the end of week results for all 4 pairs.
