Check out this awesome web site called Funky Shark

Literally anything you want gets auctioned off in what they call a Penny Auction. Digital cameras, flat screen TV's, DVD players, smart phones, Ipods, Ipads, gift cards to all the major box stores... tons of stuff.

And people are scoring this stuff for 90-98% off retail. It's my new favorite way to shop online. You can see all the live penny auctions real time and watch as people win electronics, gift cards, gas cards, etc for just pennies on the dollar.

People get these insane savings because the auction price starts at one penny. As people bid on an item the price increases by one penny. So if 500 people were to bid on an Ipod before the auction closes, 500 bids equals 500 pennies, or $5. The winner gets the Ipod for $5!

To bid on any auction you first buy bids. You can buy a small pack of 10 bids for $10. You can buy bigger packs and the price per bid goes way down to 70 cents. Let's say all the bids people spent on the Ipod auction were $1.

So 500 bids equals $500 that the company brought in on this one auction. Huge profits right? It's what they do with these profits that really gets exciting. Almost as exciting as winning an Ipod for $5.

50% of the profits get paid out to other members. They first calculate up to 150% of the retail value and pay half of that amount to the sponsor of the auction winner. The remaining half is paid out to 5 other people above the sponsor.

So if your friend won the Ipod for $5 but it's retail value is $140, the company sends you a check $105! And the other $105 is paid out to 5 other people. It's totally nuts!

The rest of the money that comes from the auctions dumps into 7 bonus pools and we all can qualify to earn equal shares of the pools every month. Plus they also pay you every month for referring that Ipod winner and anyone else to the company.

What is a Penny Auction?

A penny auction auctions products that you can bid on to win. Bids cost $0.70 - $1 each. Each time a bid is spent on an auction the price of the item goes up 1 penny. The final bidder wins, pays for the item, and it gets shipped directly to them.

Is the Funky Shark penny auction site different than all the other penny auctions?

Towards the upper right corner of penny auction site at http://www.funkyshark.com/ there you will see a button for Bid Packages. There's also a link in the Dash Board. You can log into the Business Manager site at http://rewards.funkyshark.com/ as well and in the Affiliate Center is a section called "Autoship" where you can buy bids

What is the difference between Autoship bids packs and single bid packs bids?

A one time order of bids earns you Personal Bid Volume when those bids are spent in the auctions. Bids purchased on autoship earn you Group and Personal Volume, immediate bonus Personal Volume, and you can earn additional bonus Personal Volume when you give those bids to free customers and the bids get used in the auctions.

Do I pay a monthly fee?

The monthly membership fee is $14.95. For members who just joined there is a one time fee of $39.95.

Here are the 8 exciting ways YOU can make money with the Funky Shark. And keep in mind - penny auction examples below are from just one auction. Multiply these results by multiple auctions per day!!

1.Fast Start Bonus

For every new member you refer, 50% of the One Time Setup Fee is paid out as commissions. 25% is yours as a $10 Fast Start Bonus. The other 25% is paid out in Generational and Infinity Matching Bonuses.

4.Non-Autoship Bid Pack Purchase Bonus

A 20% commission is paid on all Bid Pack purchases.
When your personally referred members make One Time bid pack purchases you earn a 10% commission.
The remaining 10% is paid out as Generational and Infinity Matching Bonuses to qualified affiliates.
This means every non-autoship bid pack purchased within 5 generations from you can make you a Generational Matching Bonus and every non-autoship bid pack purchased in your entire downline can make you an Infinity Matching Bonus!

Before We Go Any Further...

Let's look at the 7 steps that occur for every auctioned item:

A Retail Value (MSRP) is assigned to an item prior to auction.
A Retail Value Bonus Percentage of up to 200% of the MSRP value is assigned to an item prior to auction.
A Maximum Retail Value Bonus is calculated by multiplying MSRP x Retail Value Bonus Percentage.
After an auction closes "total value of bids used" minus the MSRP of the item is calculated to determine Auction Profit.
50% of total Auction Profit is available as Auction Commissions to be shared with qualified members.
A Retail Value Bonus is calculated using the Maximum Retail Value Bonus and is dependent on available Auction Commissions.
Generational and Infinity Matching Bonuses are paid on the Retail Value Bonus.
Any remaining Auction Commissions after the Retail Value Bonus, Generational Matching Bonuses and Infinity Matching Bonuses are paid gets assigned to the Global Profit Share Pools.

5.Retail Value Bonus

The Retail Value Bonus is calculated using the Maximum Retail Value Bonus and depends on available Auction Commissions as described in the "Before We Go Any Further" section directly above.
Available Auction Commissions, up to the Maximum Retail Value Bonus amount, are equally split between sponsor and the Generational and Infinity Matching Bonuses. Any remaining Available Auction Commissions are allocated to the Global Profit Share Pools.
Example - Funky Shark auctions a gift card with an MSRP of $100.00 and a Retail Value Bonus Percentage of 200%. The Maximum Retail Value Bonus is therefore $200. Bid sales total $2,500. After subtracting the $100 MSRP, Auction Profits are $2,400, meaning there is $1,200 in available Auction Commissions.
50% of the entire $200 Maximum Retail Value Bonus goes to the Sponsor.

The remaining 50% of the Maximum Retail Value Bonus is paid to qualified affiliates as Generational and Infinity Matching Bonuses.

In this scenario $1,000 in Auction Commissions is left over and is allocated to the Global Profit Share Pools below!

6.Global Profit Share Pools

After paying the Retail Value Bonus, Generational Matching Bonuses and Infinity Matching Bonuses, any remaining Auction Commissions are allocated to the Global Profit Share Pools.
A member's Rank determines their eligibility to qualify for one or more Global Profit Share Pools.
Each member gets an equal share of the Pool(s) they qualify for.
Each Pool is allocated a percentage of the available Auction Commissions based on the percentages in the chart below.
Participation in the Alpha Pool is limited to only those affiliates that are qualified as Alpha.
Affiliates that are qualified as Bronze or above get a share of each Pool up to and including their current rank. For example, an affiliate qualified as Gold would earn a share from the Bronze, Silver and Gold Pools.
Global Profit Share Pool commissions are calculated and paid at the end of each month. Pools are reset to zero at the beginning of each month.
Continuing with our example from the Retail Value Bonus, the remaining $1,000 in Available Auction Commissions would be allocated to the Global Profit Share Pools as such:
Alpha Pool - $200 (20%)
Bronze Pool - $400 (40%)
Silver Pool - $200 (20%)
Gold Pool - $100 (10%)
Platinum Pool - $50 (5%)
Diamond Pool - $25.00 (2.5%)
Double Diamond Pool - $25.00 (2.5%)
Total Addition to Global Profit Share Pools = $1,000
