E-Trading and Investment Summit impresses traders in Accra
FXTM’s Head of Education in Nigeria, Conrad Okongwu, visited Accra, Ghana, for a seminar and workshop as part of his popular E-Trading & Investment Summit series. These events are designed for traders wishing to build upon their existing understanding of trading and the forex market, whilst also gaining new tips and insights.
The summit was held at the AH Hotel and began with an engaging seminar on 23 February. Over 150 eager traders gathered for a day of interactive learning and networking opportunities. Over the course of the event, participants learnt:
- How to get started as a forex trader
- All about FXTM’s range of products and services
- The many benefits of FXTM Invest, our innovative copy trading programme.
There were also numerous opportunities for participants to ask Conrad their most pressing industry questions. The turnout was fantastic, as was the atmosphere. The day ended with a lucky draw, where 3 lucky winners each received an Apple iPad and 2 brand-new Android phones.
A three-day workshop followed from 26-28 February at the same location, where attendees were able to consolidate their understanding of key forex topics, including:

On February 23, 2019, FXTM hosted a special debut seminar in Chiang Mai, Thailand. FXTM’s renowned Head of Education, Andreas Thalassinos, travelled to the region to present the popular Ultimate Trading Formula, and help participants to develop their trading confidence.

FXTM’s Hussein Sayed chairs 8th Global Family Office Investment Summit
FXTM’s Chief Market Strategist (Gulf & MENA), Hussein Sayed, was the Chairman and Master of Ceremonies at the prestigious 8th Global Family Office Investment Summit in Dubai. The special event took place between the 2nd and 4th of March, and it’s acclaimed as one of the “world’s largest and most exclusive gathering of family wealth.”
This year’s summit was themed around “investing in the new age” – bringing together prominent industry voices from all over the globe to network and exchange ideas. Over the course of two days, cross-border thought leadership questioned how institutions are investing, and why.
Highlights from this prominent event include:
- Hussein Sayed’s excellent chairmanship and expertise ensured the event run smoothly
- The event gathered over 400 attendees, including royal families, elite family offices, Sheikhs, prominent conglomerate business moguls and industry professionals from the Middle East and beyond

FXTM was delighted to return to Pretoria, South Africa, to continue its mission to educate investors on the fundamentals of trading. Our acclaimed industry expert Theunis Kruger hosted ‘The Gift of Online Trading’ in the form of an informative seminar and two-day workshop from 9 to 12 March. This event was specifically designed for new traders, and delivered a clear, structured guide on how they can start their own online trading journey.
Set in the backdrop of the elegant Sheraton Pretoria Hotel, the event began with an engaging seminar on 9 March whereby close to 90 eager traders joined FXTM for a day of interactive learning.
