This is just an appreciation post for one of the greatest strikers our league has ever seen. There are no players like him today.

He was a pure striker, ‘always living offside’. The most unpredictable player of all time. He was always in the right place at the right time.

Pippo Inzaghi you legend, we miss you a lot!

Filippo Inzaghi, Italy's oldest World Cup scorer. The fans affectionately called him "Duchinta", because the sight of him created a tension between the goalkeepers!!

"The first time I saw Zidane was at Juventus' training ground. I ran on the empty track, worked on fitness. And, I watched Zidane's dribbling and ball skills.

One day I want to try that kind of standing dribbling. At first I fell to the ground, then I never wanted to do anything like that again.

Ancelotti helped a lot when I scored a hat-trick against Kiev in the Champions League. That day, Zidane came to me and said, 'You played great today, I wish I could play as well as you.'

I looked for a while and thought, if I play well, what if Zidane!! Zinedine was highly praised after scoring 3 goals again in the Hamburg match.

That day I asked, 'If I am a good ball player, you are unbelievable. I have never seen anyone do that with the ball.'
Zidane smiled and replied, 'We'll talk later.'

A few days later, in an ad shoot, Zidane explained, 'Philippe, what you do is not for me. You stand patiently for the ball for the whole 90 minutes. Standing at one end, you can't even catch what is happening at the other end.

In the early days, we were doing well, the season at Juventus was going smoothly, but then darkness fell between us. He was a player who lived for scoring and would go crazy if he didn't score.

In one match, he didn't pass me the ball when I was facing an open net while he was up against a defender and the goalkeeper. That was when our relationship collapsed.

It took me a long time to realize that I made a huge mistake by arguing with him. That’s just who Pippo is.
you can't ask him to pass the ball in front of the goal. That’s how he is; he thrives on scoring goals."

He is the man Milan fans will never forget, the man of the seventh, the man of Athens, the man of that night when Milan lifted their seventh Champions League star.
