Descriptions
- Provide assistance and guidance to the proposal executives.
- Assist the Estimation Manager in reviewing the cost estimates and bid proposals.
- Ensure the completeness of the bid document and if incomplete, missing documents or information shall be obtained from the client.
- Review the bid document carefully and understand the specified scope of work.
- Review the commercial terms & conditions in the bid document and compare with the company standard term and conditions.
- Provide relevant documents to the Technical Department when technical support for the bid proposal is required.
- Perform technical verification for mechanical design using Compress.
- Carry out an accurate take-off for material and subcontract services based on the scope of work specified in the bid document.
- Prepare the cost estimates based on the department’s estimation format i.e. specific to the product.
- Propose alternative bid proposals to arrive at a better cost option.
- Prepare the bid proposal and submit on or before closing date.
- Ensure the confidentiality of the bided price at all stages of the bidding process.
- Respond to all clarifications issued by the client.
- Prepare budgets of awarded tenders using company format.
- Participate in contract negotiations, clarification and kick off meeting.
Requirements
- Minimum with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering)
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience from Oil & Gas company/industries and any other industries related.
- Experience in fabricating pressure vessel is amust.
