after you use a verb to be (am, is, are) the verb that follows should be in past tense..paid

"i second that motion" means what?

ok so i said to mr kalau "an avatar a day keeps the doctor away"..

then he replied "i second that motion"..

motion refers to my action of saying "an avatar a day keeps the doctor away"..

second stands for like if someone gives an idea/vote, and i support that idea/vote..

so basically "i second that motion" can also be put as "i support your idea/action:paid

anybody correct me if i'm wrong..i'm learning too:">
