Some of you are very excited indeed to increase the trading lot size when you start seeing your account grows. Some are also getting impatient when their request for trading lot size increment are rejected or not being increased to the desired trading lot size.

With ESA Trader, our objective is to grow all our students’ portfolios. In order to achieve that, we have to manage the risk from all angles. It has never been doubtful that with bigger trading lot size, the account may grow faster but it may also be going the reverse direction.

We would only consider any request for lot size adjustment (increment) when the returns surpass the invested capital. For example, if you invest USD3,000, any request for trading lot size increment must have a minimum equity balance of USD6,000.

We hope everyone will not be getting too excited over the trading lot size increment. All should also be aware that any lot size adjustment will have their existing open trade transactions to be closed before the adjustment is made. This is to ensure the hedging mechanism will function accordingly and prevent imbalance during hedging.
