Dear Valued Members: Based upon the emails being sent into Support, it seems there are a large number of members that did not correctly enter their email address during registration. As a result, these people cannot quickly update their own profile or their Authentication ID. We have decided to allow more time for this to be done. All members will have 30 days to update any email addresses that are not correct. So as of now you can continue using your PASSWORD as usual to Authenticate.
To change your profile details:
1. Log in
2. Go to View Member Profile
3. Enter the Authentication ID exactly as in your National ID or Passport (All members who registered after November 29th were already asked to provide this at registration)
4. Change any details you want -- including email address and password
5. Click Save
6. On next page, enter the OLD password (the password you used to log in right now)
7. Click Authenticate
If you cannot Authenticate (Step 7), then please go to "Change My Authentication ID" and follow the instructions there. If you no longer have access to the registered email address, then we will need to see a full color digital photo or full color scan of your National ID or passport.
One final note: As we have said repeatedly... protect your account the same way you would protect a bank account! Any theft from your account is not recoverable.
1. Do not allow someone else to register accounts for you -- anyone who has your information can fully control your account.
2. Do not use an unsecure internet connection like a cybercafe -- there is often password stealing software loaded on their computers.
3. Do not share your password -- change your password often and keep it secret.
4. Do not share your account information -- do not tell people how to "look into" your account.
5. Do not share an email address -- because your password can be retrieved to the email address on file.
6. Do not use a simple or easy to guess password -- use a random password... not 1234567, not any part of your name, not your birthday, etc.
7. Do not share your Authentication ID -- because anyone with your Auth-ID can change your member profile -- including transfer the account to someone else.
Protect your own account! It is your responsibility!
