Solana in September 2026: Can SOL Return Above $110?
Solana is once again at the center of attention in the crypto market.
After recovering toward the end of August, SOL moved above $100 several times. However, price action has become much less convincing in September. On September 13, SOL closed at around $99.33, while daily trading volumes for Solana remained high.
The blockchain market includes platforms designed for different purposes, from decentralized finance and smart contracts to payments, gaming, and digital applications. Two of the most widely discussed networks are Solana (SOL) and Ethereum (ETH).
Both support smart contracts, decentralized applications, and large ecosystems of digital assets. However, they use different approaches to scalability, transaction processing, network security, and fees.
Crypto Market Update: Bitcoin Pulls Back as Investors Watch October
The cryptocurrency market is approaching the end of September after a strong recovery earlier in the month, but recent price movements show that investors remain cautious.
Bitcoin briefly climbed above $87,000 in late September, reaching its highest level since January 2026. However, the rally has since cooled, with BTC moving back toward the 83,000–84,000 area. Ethereum and several major altcoins have also experienced pressure as traders reassess the market outlook heading into October.
