Data Centre Operator Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day data centre / computer operations (batch processing, printing reports, systems backup, tape management, server reboots, facilities and infrastructure checks in the data centre)
Pro-actively monitor the data centre systems’ uptime and connectivity to ensure system availability to prevent any down time, and coordinate problem resolution with vendor or second level support groups.
To log and submit problem management record and assigned to appropriate party
Ensure physical security procedures are followed strictly
Requirement:
Able to perform 24hours rotational shifts
Strong initiative and able to work independently
Good knowledge with Windows server / UNIX / Linux / AS400 and Mainframe MVS
Minimum 2-3 years or relevant working experience in a Data Centre environment
Pre-requisites:
Min. Education Level : Diploma
Field of Study : Information and Communication Technology Year of Exp Required : 1
Skills : AIX (Advanced Interactive eXecutive) / Mainframe MVS / UNIX (UNiplexed Information and Computing System) / LINUX Language : English or Bahasa or Mandarin
