Data Centre Operator
Responsibilities:
o Perform day-to-day data centre / computer operations (batch processing, printing reports, systems backup, tape management, server reboots, facilities and infrastructure checks in the data centre)
o Pro-actively monitor the data centre systems’ uptime and connectivity to ensure system availability to prevent any down time, and coordinate problem resolution with vendor or second level support groups.
o To log and submit problem management record and assigned to appropriate party
o Ensure physical security procedures are followed strictly
Requirement:
o Able to perform 24hours rotational shifts
o Strong initiative and able to work independently
o Good knowledge with Windows server / UNIX / Linux / AS400 and Mainframe MVS
o Minimum 2-3 years or relevant working experience in a
Data Centre environment

Min. Education Level : Diploma
Field of Study : Information and Communication Technology
Year of Exp Required : 1
Skills : AIX (Advanced Interactive eXecutive) / Mainframe MVS / UNIX (UNiplexed Information and Computing System) / LINUX
