Q : What is an E-Cigarette?

A : E-Cigarette is an electronic smoking device or an electronic cigarette which is also known as E Cigarette or Ecig. It is a non –flammable product that uses state of the art classy micro-electronic technology which provides smokers a real "smoking" experience without the fire, flame, tobacco, tar, carbon monoxide, ash, stub or smell found in real cigarettes.


Q : What's in the Electronic Cigarette (E-Cig) cartridge

A : The main ingredient in the cartridge is propylene glycol. The other main ingredients present are flavourings, nicotine and water. The liquid contains no known harmful chemicals!


Q : Is the E-Cig safe?

A : Most harmful products in a regular cigarette are produced as a result of the combustion/burning of the tobacco/paper etc. eg carbon monoxide or any of the other 4800+ chemicals and carcinogens that tobacco smoke produces. Q : What is propylene glycol?

A : Propylene Glycol is an odourless and colourless viscous liquid, commonly used in food and medicines and as a food colouring and flavouring. It is also present in regular cigarettes being used to maintain a dampness in the tobacco. It is recognised as generally safe by Food and Drug Administrations throughout the world. Propylene glycol is the main ingredient present in the E-cig cartridge to provide the vapour that looks like smoke and to suspend the nicotine and flavour.

Q : How Does the E-cig Work?
A : The E-cig comprises three parts: the battery/microelectronics, vaporiser device and mouthpiece/cartridge.When you inhale through the mouthpiece a sensitive micro switch activates the rechargeable battery which immediately causes the vapour device to vaporise a tiny drop of the cartridge liquid. The vapour contains vaporised nicotine within the ‘mist’ which in turn is delivered straight to the blood stream via lungs giving you that instant ‘smokers fix’ and a relief from cigarette craving.


Q : How Long Do The Cartridges REALLY Last?

A : From my personal experience as a 30 a day smoker (now zero) I have found that that a 20 cigarette a day smoker will get through between 2 and 3 cartridges a day. Obviously lighter smokers will use fewer cartridges and heavier smokers more!



Q : Is the E-cig a Stop Smoking Aid?

A : The E-cig is an effective smoking cessation device. However efforts and will power are required as well.


Q : Can I smoke my electronic cigarette in NO SMOKING places?

A : Yes you can and totally legally!
It does not produce any smoke. Only WATER VAPOUR.
You can even smoke your E-cig in the aircraft, it is not detectable by the smoke detector.
