After nine hours of meeting, decision on the future of Neymar postponed

Friday was for the decision on the future of striker Neymar. During nine hours (with short break for lunch), the delegation Santos, formed by President Alvaro Luis de Oliveira Ribeiro, the legal director Luciano Moita, the advisor to the president Fernando Silva, and representatives of a group of businessmen who support Luis Alvaro, representatives tried to convince the player to keep him at the club for over two years. The meeting was held in Sao Paulo.

Early on, Neymar da Silva Santos, the player's father and agent Wagner Ribeiro told about the proposal in Chelsea: about $ 8 million per year in salaries for the player and another contract until 2015. The Chairman of Santos, in turn, made it clear that the only player out of the Vila Belmiro if the English club pay the $ 79 million fine rescission.

Then the player's representatives heard the proposal from Santos: a generous wage increase (three times what the boy is now receiving) to be paid with the help of marketing actions, as was done with Robinho. That salary would not be frozen: there would be automatic triggers that would be fired in accordance with the provision of pre-set targets: artillery championships, titles, summonses to the Brazilian team.

Neymar Ribeiro and da Silva left the meeting promising an answer by Friday.
