erm..... klau ikut cara TT nie backtest... data yang digunakan sebenarnya bukan dari data broker tapi data dari metaquotes...

Apa yang aku biasa buat plak... aku akan guna data dari broker itu sendiri dan biasa nya aku akan backtest guna data Akaun Real sesuatu broker... ye lah kita nak live kat broker tu kan... takkkan backtest kat data broker lain pastu live kat data lain... so ini penting utk pastikan OPTIMIZATION RESULT yang kita dpt accurate... huhuhuhuh

Dan ingat biasanya, backtest atau optimization yang kita dapat cantek... tak semestinya LIVE pon cantek huhuhuhuhuhu.... INGAT!!!

From the History Back Test 2009. FAP make profit from Jan-Mac, after that April till Dec it slowly start losing money.
Max profit 416 USD on 20Mac;09. Then win lose till end of year become 175 USD.

So will the History Repeat itself ? And the back test as same as forward test ? You have to find out yourself.

Prepare Historical Data

The important thing I Forget to teach. How to prepare Historical Data ?

Sometimes after do so many BackTEst, the platform will jam. So I just delete the platform and install new one, then i realized many Newbie did not know about Historical Data.

1. Get a new platform Install.
2. Open an account. (standard for IBFX as mini account IBFX no data)
3. Click option, and on Chart Tab, press 9999999 MaxBar in Hisory and Chart.
4. Press F2, select currency u want, click all the time frame till light up.
5. Double click on 1 minute TimeFrame, press Download.

Wait 1/2 hours for complete download. Press again download for recalculate time frame.

U now ready to Test Drive.

Your hardsik must be big, as some EA will write log for 1 gigabyte if you tested a whole years. Close your platform and execute some batch file command.

Open a NotePad and save as DeleteData.bat

echo y| del c:\IBFX\FT1\tester\logs
echo y| del c:\IBFX\FT2\tester\logs
echo y| del c:\IBFX\FT3\tester\logs
echo y| del c:\IBFX\FT4\tester\logs

Run the DeleteData.bat. U will get your space back.
