Camarilla vertex fx indicator

TS-Osc - Vertex FX Indicator

The TS-Osc is a Vertex FX Oscillator based on the change in closing prices. It is a powerful indicator for determining change in trends.

The TS-Osc indicator comprises of two components, the main TS-Osc (BLUE) and the Signal (RED) component. To calculate the TS-Osc, we first calculate the differences between the current and previous close, and similarly the absolute difference between the current and previous close. The EMA of the above two differences for the R_FIRST duration is calculated. We again calculate the EMA of the calculated EMAs for R_SECOND duration. The ratio of this EMA to that of the absolute EMA is multiplied by 100, and this value is the TS-Osc.

The Signal component is the SIGNAL_PERIOD exponential moving average of the TS-Osc.

BUY - Enter BUY trade when BLUE (TS-Osc) closes above RED (Signal) from below. Both indicators must be below zero level. When both indicators are below -50, it indicates a strong bullish trend is due.

SELL - Enter SELL trade when BLUE (TS-Osc) closes below RED (Signal) from above. Both indicators must be above zero level. When both indicators are above +50, it indicates a strong bearish trend is due.

William Vix-Fix - Vertex FX Indicator

The William Vix-Fix is a vertex FX indicator which was actually developed by Larry Williams, and is a powerful indicator that detects intermediate market tops and bottoms.

We first calculate the highest close of the most recent PERIOD candles. The William Vix-Fix is calculated by subtracting the current low from this value, and dividing this difference by the highest close of the most recent PERIOD candles. The value is multiplied by 100.

BUY - Enter BUY trade when a new swing low has been detected in the indicator. The most recent swing low to the left of the current swing low must be above the current swing low, otherwise the trade must be ignored. Stop Loss must be set to the nearest support level.

SELL - Enter SELL trade when a new swing high has been detected in the indicator. The most recent swing high to the left of the current swing high must be below the current swing high, otherwise the trade must be ignored. Stop Loss must be set to the nearest resistance level.

XMA - Vertex Fx Indicator

The XMA indicator is a vertex FX indicator which is based on two moving averages, and has a digital filter to detect the market trend. When the price is trending, the XMA indicator is sloping upwards (uptrend), or sloping downwards (downtrend). When the price is sideways, the XMA indicator is sideways and we avoid entering the market in such scenarios.

To calculate the XMA, we first calculate the moving averages, and compare the first moving average with the previous value of the second moving average. If the difference between the two is above the POROG threshold, then the XMA is equal to the second moving average, otherwise it equals the previous value of the XMA. This enables the XMA to detect trending markets.

BUY - Enter BUY when candle closes above the XMA indicator and the XMA is moving upwards. Place stop loss at support below the XMA indicator.

Note: -Do not enter BUY trade if candle gaps above XMA.

SELL - Enter SELL when the candle closes below the XMA indicator and the XMA is moving downwards. Place stop loss at resistance above the XMA indicator.

SinTrend - Vertex FX indicator

The SinTrend is a simple yet powerful vertex FX indicator that detects market cycles using trigonometric functions. It is very useful in cyclical markets, especially in determining the turning points.

It is calculated by subtracting the current candle close from the close of reference candles ago. This value is divided by the reference number of candles, and then the trigonometric sine value is calculated.

The reference period is set based upon the time-frame of the chart. If the chart is a Daily chart, then the reference period is 18 candles.

M1 Period - 110 candles.
M5 Period - 90 candles.
M15 Period - 60 candles.
M30 Period - 42 candles.
H1 Period - 36 candles.
H4 Period - 24 candles.
Daily Period - 18 candles.
Weekly Period - 12 candles.
Monthly period - 3 candles.

BUY - Enter BUY trade when SinTrend indicator has bottomed out below 0 levels and is gradually increasing.

SELL - Enter SELL trade when SinTrend indicator has topped out above 0 and is gradually falling.

wellxAMA - Vertex FX Indicator

The wellxAMA is a powerful vertex FX indicator based on Adaptive Moving Average. It provides excellent trading opportunity and is especially useful in trend-following systems, and employs the concepts of digital filters.

In the first step, we calculate the AMA (Adaptive Moving Average) based on the PERIOD_AMA. We then calculate the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) based on the change in price on each candle and smooth this SNR using the NFAST and NSLOW smoothing period. Finally, the wellxAMA is calculated based on the AMA and this smoothed SNR. The DK threshold is used to move the trailing stop upwards in up trends and downwards in down trends. The AMA indicator displays blue dots in bullish breakout, and yellow dots in bearish breakouts.

BUY - Enter BUY when candle closes above the blue dot. Set stop-loss to nearest support below the blue dot. Avoid entry if candle gaps up above the blue dot.

SELL - Enter SELL when candle closes below the yellow dot. Set stop-loss to the nearest resistance above the yellow dot. Avoid entry if candle gaps below the yellow dot.

Flat Trend RSI – VertexFX indicator

The Flat Trend RSI indicator is based upon the RSI indicator, and provides trading signals when specific RSI thresholds are crossed. The concept behind the Flat Trend RSI is that a strong bullish continues when the RSI rises above 70, and till it leads to exhaustion of that trend. Similarly, a strong bearish trend continues when the RSI falls below 30, and till exhaustion of this bearish trend, at which time it starts rising again.
To calculate the Flat Trend RSI, we first calculate the RSI over RSI_PERIOD. A threshold filter of 70 is used to determine whether the RSI is bullish. When the RSI is above 70, it indicates a bullish breakout, whereas a RSI value below 30 indicators a bearish trend.

BUY - Enter BUY when the indicator value is 1.0.
SELL - Enter SELL when the indicator value is -1.0.

Good MACD – VertexFX indicator

The Good_MACD indicator is an enhancement of the MACD indicator by employing additional smoothing (alpha and beta), to reduce lag and make it more responsive. It comprises of two components, the main MACD (blue) and the secondary Signal (red) component.
The main MACD indicator is calculated by subtracting the slow moving EMA from the fast moving EMA, based upon the closing price.
The Signal line is calculated by smoothing the current EMA difference with ALPHA (which is 2 divided by, SIGNAL_MA_PERIOD plus 1, and BETA, which is one minus BETA. The previous value of Signal is used for BETA smoothing.

BUY - Enter BUY when BLUE line closes above RED line from below. Both the BLUE and RED lines must be below zero.
SELL - Enter SELL when the BLUE line closes below RED line from above. Both the BLUE and RED lines must be above zero.

I4_DRF – VertexFX Indicator

The I4_DRF indicator is a comparative indicator that determines the start of a trend. Likewise, it can be used to determine the exhaustion of a trend.
It calculates the number of occurrances of up closes and down closes of the current close compared to the close between the last 11 to 21 candles ago. Whenever the current candle closes above the candle 11 bars ago, the count is incremented. Whereas if the current candle closes below the candle 11 bars ago the count is decremented. This procedure is repeated from 11 bars ago to 21 bars ago, and the cumulative sum is presented as I4_DRF value.
Whenever the market starts trending up, the indicator value starts rising. When the market is in uptrend, the indicator value is either rising or stabilizes above zero. Finally when the market starts falling, the indicator value too starts falling exhibiting a change in trend. The opposite occurs when the market is falling and then starts rising.

BUY - Enter BUY when the indicator rises from -11 to cross above 0.
SELL - Enter SELL when the indicator falls from +11 to cross below 0.

JMA RSX VertexFX Indicator

The JMA RSX indicator is based upon the Jurik Moving Average methodology of calculating the RSX. It is useful in determining cyclical market trends, especially turning points where the market changes direction. The smoothed price of the close over PERIOD is calculated over the PERIOD bars using the Jurik Moving Average method. This value is then differentiated against the value PERIOD bars ago. Finally, this difference is expressed as relative strength and multiplied by 100 to calculate the JMA RSX.
As a result, it provides an indicator which is flatter and smoother than RSI, but which responds faster to market turning points.
BUY - Enter BUY trade when the JMA RSX indicator has closed above 30 from below.
SELL - Enter SELL trade when the JMA RSX indicator has closed below 70 from above.

Least Square MA VertexFX Indicator

The Least Square MA is a moving average based indicator that employs least-squares regression model.
Using the closing prices, we calculate the least squares co-efficient over the recent R_PERIOD candles. The co-efficients are calculated using linear weighted moving average.
The Least Square MA builds the price curve which is closest to all the candle closes over the R_PERIOD. Hence it reduces the lag efficiently.
BUY - Enter BUY when indicator value turns GREEN. Avoid entering trade when candle gaps up.
SELL - Enter SELL when indicator value turns RED. Avoid entering trade when candle gaps down.
