Yesterday, inside the car itself, I was teaching my kids, word by word, the meaning of the du'a : "Bismillahilladhi laa yadur ma3a ismihi..."

And just 5-6 minutes later, Allah saved me and my family from a devastating head-on collision by a whisker. I was going slow but the other guy was ramming towards me head on atleast 80 miles/hour.

‏قال رسول الله ﷺ: «ما من عبد يقول في صباح كل يوم ومساء كل ليلة: بسم الله الذي لا يضر مع اسمه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء وهو السميع العليم، ثلاث مرات، إلا لم يضره شيء». رواه أبو داود والترمذي.

Aban bin `Uthman said.. “I heard `Uthman bin `Affan (ra) saying: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There is no worshiper who says, in the morning of every day, and the evening of every night: ‘In the Name of Allah, who with His Name, nothing in the earth or the heavens can cause harm, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing (Bismillāh, alladhi lā yaḍurru ma`a ismihi shai'un fil-arḍi wa lā fis-samā', wa huwas-Samī`ul `Alīm)’ – three times, (except that) nothing shall harm him.”

The exact same thing happened when I was a kid and my father taught me this. We got saved from a fatal car crash.

PS: I have no interest to show off my deeds, (Ma'aadh Allah) , I just want to relay the truthfulness of our beloved Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and encourage others to obey him better. What Allah saved me from was something of this kind (pic below) and the power of du'as from the sunnah are immense.
