orang lama..itu je software yang tahu..robocy boleh bawak sekali permission dari system lama ke yang baru..

enterprise data migration pun aku layan pakai robocopy..so far so good. total data migration pernah buat dalam 20TB, structured and unstructured data.

macam mana Encik Samad periksa integrity data..?

begitu la nampaknya....so maknanya sebelum kita delete file dlm int..kena cek dulu fail dalam ext..kalau elok baru la kita delete file dlm int tu....

Nak Low Level Format, nak kena buat pindahan data semula la nampaknye..
Tapi den dalam proses guna kaedah alternatif lain..
Semua 'Bad Sector'(jika ada) akan dikumpulkan dalam satu partition jika 'Bad Sector' tu tak dapat 'revive' semula..
Den guna HDD Regenerator 2011..
Jam 2 pagi ni kot siap..
Tu utk HDD WD 2TB..
Lepa siap yg tu, den buat kat HDD Hitachi 320GB plak..(yg disyaki ada Bad Sector)

50GB punya data pun rasa nak patah pinggang bila check secara manual..

Sebab tu den tengah cari program yg 'automate' buat CRC32 selepas data tu di'copy' pastu automatic buat cross-check dengan data asal..
In case berlaku 'error'/tak selari, program tu kasi makluman..

Hey all,

I need to find a program that can add an option to (on the right-click drag menu for example) to not just copy/move but also verify the data after the copy/move so I am 100% sure that the file has arrived safely on the new medium.

I will be using this on a server that uses a snap-shot type of redundancy raid, so I will be commiting data now and again to this software raided archive for long term storage. Any errors in the data will potentially cause problems for the other files too in the case of a raid failure.

Also I just started using a bunch of USB-to-IDE adapters in order to be able to use a lot of my old disks without having to fill the machine with crappy old IDE PCI cards. The USB adapters are great, but I just dont trust them yet (they are CHEAP...) and I also spotted a corruption a file when I did some testing earlier. Only happened once though and I was working with a really really old disk so i cant say for sure if it maybye was only the disk.

In any case - I dont care about the speed resources it takes, just point me in the direction of a program that can copy&very for me easily and reliably and il be a happy man

- Has to support Windows7
- Pretty much as to be able integrate itself in some way into explorer so its not a hassle to use. opening up a special app. each time for example would be unacceptable.

I know I have seen plenty of these kinds of programs before, but I just dont remember the names of any, and its a pretty ambigous search term when you search for "copy" or "file" on the internet heh Hope someone can throw me some suggestions for a good, streamlined and reliable program.

Actually checked out richcopy. I didnt see any explorer integration though. I think its a much more heavy-duty utility for moving massive amounts of data once in a while, not for daily use for all kinds of data (atleast it looked that way).

Teracopy is perfect though. With the new features since last time I used it its even better I think il be satisfied with this. Thanks for all the help.

TIPS yg aku buat sndri n pakai :

yg bagus, jgn 'CUT & PASTE", pki 'COPY & PASTE' kalau nak pindah data besar, lg selamat..

kalau tersangkut tgh jalan mase pindah pki CUT, data out terus, kalau pki COPY, bleh buat smula..

jgn byk sgt partition, xde faedah pn, buat 2 sudah, max..

nak bahagi2, buat folder je..

nak pindah folder saiz besar, COPY, n tinggalkan sampai siap..

xyah mencelah mse tgh copy, ang pn sibuk nak tgk muvi lah, wat kije lah..(tips ni bleh pki mase burn CD or DVD jgak)

setakat aku main pindah2 data bsar, 100gb keatas seketul pn ade, xde masalah lg stkt ni..

semua HDD aku selamba ja tonggang tebalik, xdak masalah..laptop klu nk tinggal lama pn, aku letak menegak je (land on it side)..

ade setengah org pki TERA COPY, aku tgk lg byk file rosak pki ni..biar slow asl selamat..(nak burn dvd n cd pn, yg bgus pki speed rndah)

benda ni x perlu cek pon.. cume ade masalah kecil time perpindahan data secara besar2ran.. so leps ni try software transfer file plak. sebb klu bro low format hdd pon tapi CPU 100% usage pon takut problem jadi lagi.. so solution lain cari software file transfer yg leh manage file
